Lapping Machine

American Machine & Gear has just added a Speedfam CNC lapping machine to its equipment list! This machine will lap both sides of a part at the same time. This allows us to produce parts that are both flat and parallel within a micron. Parts can be up to 1.181” (30 mm) thick and 13.780” (350 mm) in diameter or corner to corner.

Even better, the CNC controls allow us to turn parts around far faster than shops that are still doing the work manually. That means significantly lower cost to you. Contact us if you need your parts faster, cheaper and/or to tighter tolerances! It’s an easy win.
